William Land Park Municipal Golf Course, is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Sacramento, California.
This is a 9-hole will challenge with a pair of par-four and one par-five hole. Hole 3 has a unique challenge. The relic of what is left of a former tree acts as an intimidating obstacle best avoided.
Nicknamed the "cradle of golf" in Sacramento. William Land first opened for play in 1924 making it Sacramento's oldest course. William Land has been upgraded over the years making it today one of the premier 9 hole courses in the region. Pete Dye redesigned the course in 1950.
The par 34 hole course plays to a maximum distance of 2,612 yards for a course rating of 31.7 and a slope rating of 102.

Great course for a 9 hole round. Challenging for 15 handicappers like me, but not so much that you can't also shoot a decent score. Breakfast after the round is always good and is a bargain!

I AM SURE THIS WAS ONCE A STELLAR GEM BUT TIME AND NEGLECT HAVE TAKEN THEIR TOLL. LOTS OF BARE SPOTS AROUND THE GREENS IN SOME FAIRWAYS. NOT A BAD PLAY FOR THE PRICE, BUT WHAT A BEAUTY THIS COURSE COULD BE WITH SOME MONEY AND PROPER ATTENTION!

Local park. Watch out for pedestrians on course.

One of the oldest golf courses around nicknamed the "Craddle of Golf". In the best shape that I have seen it in years.

For a muni 9-hole course, Land Park is a gem in a beautiful city park setting. I've played it at least once a week for years and years and have always enjoyed myself. Holes 3, 4 and 5 are deceptively challenging. Staff is great.
